Schambeck SFD GmbH was founded in 1991 to produce columns for high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and the trade with HPLC equipment. In 1994 the range of products was extended with equipment for gas chromatography. We started to sell gas chromatoraphs made by SRI instruments on the European market. Since 1996 Schambeck SFD GmbH manages the European business for SRI instruments. Also in 1996 Schambeck SFD GmbH started the development of own instruments in the range of HPLC detection. The first interest was in refractive index detection which is mostly used in sugar and polymer analysis. The development of the ELSD detector ZAM 3000 was finished in the mid of 2004. The products offered by Schambeck SFD GmbH are worldwide available through a network of authorized dealers.
