Luby Equipment traces its beginnings to 1977 when Bob Luby seized the opportunity to become an owner of Machine Maintenance and Equipment Company. He had begun his career in heavy equipment sales and had experience in everything from cranes to excavators. Initially, the company focused on maintaining and repairing heavy industrial equipment and has grown to include three divisions that sell and service equipment—the construction division, the oilfield division and the power generation division
