Koch-Glitsch is a complete solutions provider with extensive knowledge, experience, and unique capabilities. Across the chemical, petrochemical, refining, gas processing, pharmaceutical and specialty chemical industries, Koch-Glitsch is recognized as a global leader in mass transfer and separations equipment as well as related services, with a full range of capabilities to meet your toughest needs. Fred Koch established Koch Engineering in 1945, and the company developed its own tray technologies. Some of the original tray configurations are shown in the photo above. Fritz W. Glitsch started his fabrication and machine shop in Dallas, Texas in 1913, and by the 1930s, the company specialized in columns and mass transfer equipment. By 1997, Koch Engineering and Glitsch International were both industry leaders in their respective products. Koch Engineering acquired Glitsch International and renamed the company Koch-Glitsch.
