Founded in 1968 by two Hillsboro, Kansas entrepreneurs, Hillsboro Industries was from the start dedicated to producing unique, innovative, high-quality products. Beginning with spring-tooth harrows and multiple drill hitches, Hillsboro Industries’ product line soon grew to encompass flatbed trailers and hydraulic-dump grain trailers. These early-on products were met with an enthusiastic marketplace that recognized Hillsboro’s focus on quality, durability and value. Throughout the seventies and eighties the company opened the door to facility expansion and new product development. In 2008 we moved into our latest major expansion; a 22,500 square-foot addition. This brought our total facility to nearly 100,000 sq. ft. of manufacturing space; allowing us to remain one of the most efficient, yet highest quality producers of innovative light-weight aluminum stock, cargo and car-hauler trailers, aluminum and steel truck beds and construction-grade flatbed trailers in the country.
