Gistele manufactures high quality electrical distribution and automation cabinets for building construction, OEM and heavy industries (e.g. ship, energy and forestry). Gistele was founded in 1979 during which time the main focus was on control cabinets. The company started in a small garage in Lieto and was moved to Tuulissuo in 1985 when an own building was built. Gistele moved to its current location in 1994 when the company consisted of 15 employees and the factory area was around 500 m2.
