Esau Oilfield Supplies Company Limited (ESAU) was founded by Esau and Joyce Ghany in 1972. The Company had five employees and was located on the ground floor of their home. As the Oil and Processed Gas Industry grew, the need for more space prompted the first major move for ESAU. Esau and Joyce moved their Company to 2 Hobson Street, San Fernando and increased their staff to ten. It was also the nucleus for the next generation to be prepped for the future. During the late 70s and early 80s the Oil Sector boomed in Trinidad with the entry of several multinational firms eager to reap the benefits of Trinidad’s economy. ESAU began to experience the need for more warehousing and in 1990, they began construction of their new facility in Gulf City, La Romaine. Today, ESAU has forty-six employees and is positioned as the largest supplier of Approved materials in Trinidad and Tobago.
