Products/Service
Caron Compactor was founded in the late 1960`s when founder Fred Caron developed a self-propelled steel-wheeled soil and landfill compactor which was later sold to Rexworks—the predecessor of Terex. From soil to landfills, Mr. Caron brought his knowledge of the dynamics of compaction to the solid waste disposal industry. Although Fred Caron passed away in 1980, his legacy lives on as the company grew with his son Jim Caron as the President and CEO, later to be joined by his wife, Judy Caron, as Vice President of Administration. Caron Compactor is recognized throughout the world as an industry leader due to the introduction of compaction wheels with high-alloy, replaceable Pin-On wheel caps.
